3. Scope
This policy applies to all employees, job applicants, interns, contractors, vendors, and visitors at all locations and virtual operations of Hi-tech Bangladesh.
4. Definitions
Disability: As defined by the Persons with Disabilities Rights and Protection Act, 2013 (Bangladesh), disability includes physical, sensory, intellectual, and mental health impairments that substantially limit one or more major life activities.
Reasonable Accommodation: Adjustments or modifications to the work environment or job duties that enable a person with a disability to perform essential job functions without imposing undue hardship.

HR Department: Lead inclusive hiring, provide accommodations, and manage disability-related issues confidentially.
Managers: Support employees with disabilities and create inclusive teams.
All Employees: Respect and support colleagues of all abilities and participate in inclusion initiatives.
7. Monitoring and Review
This policy will be reviewed annually or as needed to reflect changes in laws, technologies, or organizational practices. Feedback from employees, especially persons with disabilities, will be a key input in this process.
8. Legal Compliance
Hi-tech Bangladesh complies with the Persons with Disabilities Rights and Protection Act, 2013 of Bangladesh, as well as international frameworks such as the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD).
